Where do you offer “Backyard” trips?

Currently our trips cover the United States and Canada. Our staff has traveled all of these states and provinces extensively and has Insider Knowledge that we will draw from to make your trip extra special. We currently do not feature other destinations but would be happy to book trips around the world as a custom trip. Just shoot us an email with your ideas!

Why not just book each hotel myself?

You get the peace of mind of having one person to call, with the added benefit of having knowledgeable experts on hand whenever you need advice or assistance throughout your journey. We are here for you - making sure you have a place to stay each night and that everything is prepaid, so all you have to do is check-in and provide a credit card for incidentals. We've worked out the driving distances and made sure the hotels we booked are the best available for a leisure traveler based on your budget and interests, so can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time getting excited about your upcoming holiday.

Cancellation Policies

We have a standard set of cancellation policies as follows:

  • 30 days or less prior to arrival: Deposit Forfeit
  • 14 days or less: 25% of booking value
  • 7 days or less: 50% of booking value
  • 1 day or less: 80 % of booking value

Some trips have specific cancellation policies due to specialty accommodations and those are listed under each trip. Groups and special requests will have specific cancellation policies advised.

Do I need to pay for my vacation in full?

Some vacation packages require payment in full at the time of booking. However, many of our packages allow you to make an initial deposit of 20% and final payment at least 30 days prior to your trip.

Is it better to book online or over the phone?

Can we extend our stay in any of the hotels on route or add pre/post nights?

Yes. All the hotels on route are pre-booked in accordance with the day-by-day itinerary of your selected tour. You may, however, prior to booking add any number of extra hotel nights before, during and after your tour.  Just let us know prior to booking and we’ll send you a custom quote

Can we add excursions and sightseeing tours to make our travel experience even more unique?

Absolutely! We can recommend and book those for you to compliment your chosen tour. Wine tasting tours, jeep tours, scenic flights, food tours, hiking excursions, horseback riding excursions and city tours - just let us know what kind of experience you want to compliment your trip with!

Why don’t you offer rental cars and flights?

Many of you will be able to use your own car to “travel your backyard” and if you are going further afield, you can use points or cash to book your favorite airline and rental car company.  We are happy to do the research to find you the best deals and know how to use any memberships or credit card programs you may be a part of to your best advantage.
